Our performance at Bosco far exceeded my expectations for the first meet. We were fantastic at both the varsity and JV level. Congratulations to All!
We finished second in the small school division losing only to Division 4 power Don Bosco.
Our young athletes ran well meaning our future is bright.

At the varsity level I was stunned by the performances of Scott Acton (15:28), and Ray Biggerstaff (16:20). Thomas Waters ran an excellent 16:31 while nursing a cold and low grade fever during the week.

The JV performance of Freshman Jax Gorman (20:19) was outstanding. We had 8 runners under 18:30. A new school course record was broke at the Invitational by 2 minutes, and everyone displayed outstanding Christian character.

P.S. Scott Acton’s 15:28 is the the 6th fastest time by a DC athlete on any course in the 20 year history of Desert Christian cross country. Scott and Ray (16:20) now hold the 2nd and 3rd fastest times ever run by a DC athlete at the Bosco Invitational.
