Elite runner Sergio Reyes will be speaking to the DC Knights CC Team Friday Nov 19 at 4pm

Sergio Reyes lives in the Antelope Valley and works full time at Edwards Air Force Base, he grew up in a running family in the San Luis Obispo area and recently married Aimee Scott who went to Desert Christian and ran on the cross country team.

Sergio won the US Marathon Championships Oct 3, 2010 at the Twin Cities Marathon with a new PR of 2:14:02. Below is his post race interview. Fernando Cabada finished 3rd and in his interview he noted that Sergio took the lead of their group at 11 miles to chase the lead group, he went from a 5:10 pace per mile to a sub 5 min pace even down to a 4:50 pace through mile 19. Sergio held on for a 7 second win over the 2nd place finisher. Here are the results from the race.
