It was a hot and dry day as they cut the distance to 2 miles for the afternoon heats. The Lady Knights raced at 11:40am the last race of the morning. The paramedics had just driven off the course after treating runners suffering from the heat and dry conditions.
Emily went out in 6:05 for the first mile and left nothing in reserve attempting to hang with the front group. This was a week after running a course record at Shasta and waiting at the finish line to cheer on every teammate to cross the line.
All of the Lady Knights finished the Mt. Sac course strong.
No Reserve No Retreat No Regrets!
